11 – 16 August 2026

In August, Merike Estna will offer the pavilion as an open-ended experimental platform for Contemporary Art MA students from the Estonian Academy of Arts, where she has been a professor since 2025.

Departing from Estna’s idea of the pavilion being a living organism and aimed at showing the process, rather than the product, The School of Strange Weather will transform the space into an open platform. Throughout the week, students present their performative practices of transformation and experimentation. The performative is meant as an open suggestion; performative work is also a proposition for imagination.
